Getting started
1. Get the app
Install Uddak and sign in with the same account you use on uddak.com.
2. Snap on the Core
Screw a base cap onto your bottle and snap the Core on top. It wakes up by itself.
3. Add the bottle
In Bottles → Add bottle, mark it full and empty once. Uddak suggests its shape.
4. Charge on the dock
Snap the Core onto its dock, just like a bottle. The app shows when it's charging.
Quick fixes
The app can't find my cap
Make sure Bluetooth is on and the cap is on a bottle or its dock, so it's awake. Then tap Connect again.
A sip didn't count
Uddak counts when you set the bottle down and it settles. Tap Scan now to take a fresh reading.
It shows the wrong bottle
Check the base cap is pushed fully home, or pick the bottle by hand in Bottles → Use.
My numbers look off
Re-mark full and empty in Bottles, and check the bottle shape is right.

Common questions.
Any bottle that takes one of our base caps, plus 30 and 40 oz straw tumblers with the Uddak Tumbler lid. The app knows six shapes (straight, slim, wide, curvy, shouldered and tumbler) and draws your bottle to match.
Yes. The Uddak Tumbler lid replaces your 30 or 40 oz tumbler's lid and has a straw port. The cap snaps on beside the straw and counts sips even though you never tilt the tumbler.
All the electronics live in the Uddak Core, which is the same for every bottle. The outer shell snaps around it and matches your bottle's cap size and colour, so the cap sits flush. Shells are $12 each, in 48, 53 and 63 mm sizes and six colours.
Yes. Sign in with the same email or Google account in the Uddak app and on uddak.com. Your orders, Uddak Plus and your water history all show up in both.
A sensor in the cap measures the water level from above. When you set the bottle down after a drink, the drop in level becomes millilitres using that bottle's size and shape.
No. The cap stores your sips and sends them the next time your phone is in range, so nothing is lost.
Snap it onto its magnetic charging dock, the same way it snaps onto a bottle. The battery is built in and rechargeable, so it never needs replacing, and there is no port to let water in.
Checkout is handled by Stripe. You can pay by card, and with Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link where your device supports them. Promo codes are accepted.
Yes, with Uddak Plus ($60 a year). The Uddak app writes each sip to Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, after you allow it.
Yes, any time from your account page with Manage billing. It stays active until the end of the year you paid for.
